Puding Longan

the original recipe is actually for Puding Lychee but since i had canned longan instead, Puding Longan it is then. i made this for 2nd Day Iftar and gave some to my friend mimi & family and mimi asked if i could put the recipe on here, senang dia nak refer bila dia nak buat sendiri.

i got the recipe from my sister during last year's Ramadhan.

ingredients
25g agar2 strip (the packet that i have only weighs 20g)
1 can  lychee/longan in syrup - strain the lychee/longan, keep the syrup. cut the lychee/longan into small pieces.
1 can (410g) evaporated milk
3 cups granulated sugar (reduce it a bit if you prefer less sweet)
4 cups water

  1. cut the agar2 strips, give it a rinse and boil  with 4 cups water and longan syrup
  2. add in sugar & cut lychees and leave it to boil.  
  3. once boiled, add in evaporated milk and keep stirring till boiling point.
  4. remove from heat and pour into moulds & chill.
