Jeruk mempelam

One of the things we miss over here is Jeruk Assam. You can find some at the shop but the choices are limited. Tried to make some last week. The best taste was after one week of 'Jeruking'.

Ingredients
Mempelam - sliced (you can leave the skin on)
Lots of sugar
A bit of salt
A bit of white vinegar

Place in container in the fridge. Stir every so often so that it's mixed properly. Taste and add sugar as necessary. After one week, enjoy.
